The 2026 FIFA World Cup is projected to have a direct economic impact of $1.5 - $2.1 billion, with more than 100,000 daily visitors during the tournament. Due to this influx of people, commercial real estate (CRE) has a pivotal role. From hotel pipelines to short-term retail activations, crowd mobility, and adjacent site improvements, CRE leaders can shape both tournament readiness and long-term legacy.
The World Cup offers North Texas an unprecedented opportunity to drive economic growth and elevate its global profile. Dallas Stadium will host nine matches (most of any other host city), including a semi-final, and Dallas will be hosting the International Broadcast Center in Downtown.
