Join us on Saturday, January 27, as we celebrate the completion of the Dallas Catalyst Project: Forest District and take a look at some of the 22 projects completed throughout the neighborhood.
We will start at 1632 MLK Boulevard with a Celebration featuring free food, live music, and games. TREC members and community leaders will share about the DCP's impact.
We will then celebrate with ribbon-cutting ceremonies for the last two projects of the DCP: Forest District. First, we will go to the 2023 Young Guns community investment project, where we will celebrate as they cut the ribbon on a community center that was renovated from an old liquor store. Then, we will go to the Associate Leadership Council (ALC) Class of 2023's project and celebrate their completion of renovations to an apartment complex.
This event is free and open to friends and family. We ask that you register in advance so that we know how many people to expect.
